蔡哀侯——遭俘之痛
蔡哀侯,姬姓,名献舞(一名季),是蔡宣侯之子,蔡桓侯之弟。蔡桓侯二十年(鲁桓公十七年,公元前695年)六月丁丑日,蔡桓侯去世。同年八月,当时献舞在陈国,蔡国人征召献舞回蔡国。献舞于是从陈国回到蔑说继位,是为蔡哀侯。八月癸巳日,蔡哀侯安葬哥哥蔡桓侯。
Cai Ai Hou — Captivity and Sorrow
Cai Ai Hou, a man of the Ji clan, was known as Xian Wu (also called Qi). He was the son of Cai Shun Hou and the brother of Cai Huan Hou. In the 20th year of Cai Huan Hou's reign (the 17th year of Lu Huan Gong, or 695 BCE), on Ding Chou day in June, Cai Huan Hou passed away. Later that August, when Xian Wu was residing in Chen State, he received an invitation from his home state to return and take up his rightful position as ruler. Thus began his reign as Cai Ai Hou.
