张睦敬：一生痴心医道，传承中西药术

人物生平 清光绪廿八年(1902)，张睦敬出生于福州旗下一姓金满族家庭。据称，其祖先自清代来福建做官后定居福州繁衍。随着清廷日益衰败，其家族境况逐渐困顿。其父在艰难的生活中，偶然得到一个机会，从人力资源介绍中找到了小张睦敬，将他卖给了当地的田庄主张和昌作为嗣子。

张和昌，本名廷庆，是德化城关下田人的后裔，他的祖辈曾经迁居到德化县城内（今凤池街）。他毕业于福建法政学校，在清末民初曾参与德化的政治事务，并常去福州处理事务。当时因家里无继承人，他通过人力资源介紹购买了年幼的小张睦敬，待他长大后疼爱有加，如同亲生的儿子一样尽心培养。

从小天资聪慧的张睦敬，在养父母的悉心教诲下学业优异。他不仅在某所医科院校深造，还获得了一位教会名医生的指导，因此他的医学造诣极为深厚。在城内本宅店屋（现今鸣凤桥北端西侧、县电信大楼东隅）开设“张睦敬诊所”，他以西医和中医并重，以治疗痔疮最为著称。

他的医术高明，medicine and surgery skills were highly praised by the people, his medical ethics and moral character were strict and proper. He was a well-known doctor in Dehua during the 1930s. His treatment of piles with a special herbal formula that did not require surgery was particularly remarkable. The formula would shrink the blood vessels in the affected area, leading to spontaneous healing without pain or recurrence.

In his later years, Zhang Muzheng became friends with local scholars and officials such as Su Yunsan and Chen Qiyin. He passed away at the age of 47 in 1948, leaving behind a legacy of dedication to medicine and humanity.

Although he developed this secret formula for treating piles without surgery, it has been lost over time. However, his story serves as an inspiration to future generations of doctors who strive to make a difference through their work.
